Arch Services has run a food drive throughout December to help support their local foodbank. The team here at Arch all donated food from their own cupboards towards the drive along with obtaining support and donations from friends and family. This morning we delivered around a ton in food to this very worthy cause. A big thanks to all those who helped out.
As part of our social responsibility we have reviewed our sponsorship policy and have now committed to supporting the Rhondda Foodbank for the next few years by means of a continued monthly donation and additional food drives over the coming months.
Big Thanks to the JHL Team for handing over the first Brand New Flexline 312 to Wales. Great training over the last 2 days and now our team are fully up to speed and ready for work.
We at Arch have taken the step to invest in a new IMS Robotic cutter being supplied by Ant Hire Solutions. This large investment came as a result of lengthy talks and trials of the IMS equipment. Having looked at many different suppliers and manufactures the final decision was made due to the flexibility and ongoing support offered alongside the IMS equipment. After a 10 week build time the long awaited delivery has came and gone and the cutting unit is as busy as it could be!!!
We have taken delivery of 4 new vans to our fleet as part of our ongoing investment programme. The vans wear the new company branding and are the first arrivals as part of a huge investment programme planned for the next 6 months. Watch this space for more news!
Here at Arch we are proud what we do and we know we do it well! So as a result we have decided to re-brand ourselves to say what we do - Arch Drainage!
Management buy-out at South Wales based professional drainage service provider Arch Utility Services.
A South Wales based professional drainage service provider has been acquired for an undisclosed amount in a management buyout (MBO).
Damian Tranter has managed the company since 2016 and has now taken the step forward to make the company his own and continue its growth and success
Arch Utility Services offer professional civil engineering and specialist drainage services to domestic, commercial and industrial clients throughout the UK including maintenance, repair and rehabilitation. The business is a leader in “no dig” technology and its client base includes some of the UKs industry leading businesses.
Arch Utility supports numerous sectors including construction, utilities and rail delivering bespoke solutions throughout Wales, The Midlands and the South of England.
Mr Tranter said:
"I am very excited about what the future will hold for Arch, myself and the team as a result of the MBO.”
"The MBO allows us to progress and expand the service that we provide to our clients to ensure that we continue to be one of the best in our field."
“I would also like to thank the prior owners for giving me this exciting opportunity”
The MBO was supported by Greenaway Scott and Verde Corporate Finance, which form the multidiscipline GS Verde Group.
Solicitor Catherine James who led the process for Greenaway Scott said: “We were delighted to have the opportunity to work with the management team throughout the process of the MBO and look forward to seeing the team develop the company in the future.”
Berry Smith advised the sellers during the process.
